1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JomContact ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

JomContact is a business card database that allows users to store and share business cards digitally, and retrieve contacts using AI-powered natural language search.

3. Account Registration

To use JomContact, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Credits and Payment

JomContact operates on a credit-based system. By purchasing credits:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method
• Prices may change with 30 days notice
• Credits are non-refundable, whether used or unused. Subscription refunds are governed by our 7-day money-back guarantee.
• The non-refundability of credits applies to credits purchased on or after 1 May 2026. Credits purchased before that date remain subject to the prior terms in effect at time of purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Upload malicious content or malware
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Interfere with other users' access
• Resell or redistribute the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to JomContact, including business card images and extracted contact information. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data as necessary to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store any personal data in JomContact.

7. AI Processing

JomContact uses artificial intelligence to extract information from business card images and to power search features. By using the Service, you consent to this processing. AI-generated extractions may contain errors — you are responsible for verifying the accuracy of extracted data.

8. Intellectual Property

JomContact and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JomContact shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Service Availability

We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. Before cancelling, you can export your contact data from the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but your data remains available for export for 30 days before permanent deletion.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be notified via email.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
